PROJECT : ENCORE logoTwo years ago, PROJECT : ENCORE™ (P:E) announced that it had surpassed the century mark with the number of scores in its online Catalog of Contemporary Choral Music. Today, the P:E Catalog, growing in reputation for its stringently evaluated content, is proud to announce that it now represents more than 100 composers and over 150 choral compositions.

In the rapidly changing world of music discovery and distribution, performance and evaluation, PROJECT : ENCORE is a user-friendly, deeply searchable resource for new choral music that has been blindly vetted by an international panel of renowned conductors. Because just over half of the works submitted are received into the Catalog, acceptance is a significant endorsement. Compositions included span a wide spectrum of voicing, scoring, length and levels of difficulty.

In addition to making regular use of the PROJECT : ENCORE Catalog for discovering new compositions and fresh compositional voices, all are welcome to sign up to receive quarterly announcements of new scores being added to the Catalog.

PROJECT : ENCORE™ is the product of Schola Cantorum on Hudson, a 501(c)3 choral organization based in Manhattan and Northern New Jersey. P:E emerged organically from Schola’s strong programming commitment to new music, and is the organization’s most prominent contribution to the vibrant choral music industry. Almost all of Schola’s concerts contain at least one composition discovered through PROJECT : ENCORE.
